Saturday Morning Author Series - How to Effectively Research Your Written Work

Please join historian Susan Young for a hands-on workshop where you’ll discover how to create strong and authentic historic scenes to drive your story and ensnare your readers. Susan will help you identify and focus on the right research avenues that your story requires to make the past palpable, and will dissect two scenes from currently published works that got it all wrong. Please bring your laptop or internet-ready device, a notebook, and at least two scenes from your current works that need tweaking. You will be surprised how your work will shine with just a little research and information.
